Step-by-Step Guide
Lava Flow Mechanics
The lava river flows downward (top to bottom), but you're flying upstream. The playable area shifts left/right following the river's path. Stay above the orange lava surface - touching it is instant death. The river widens and narrows unpredictably.
Rapids and Waterfalls
Lava rapids (faster flowing sections) push your aircraft downward faster. Compensate with upward movement. Lava waterfalls (drops) appear as gaps in the playable area - you auto-fly upward during these, just dodge enemies.
Obsidian Fragment Collection
6 black obsidian fragments float above the lava at: 15%, 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, 90%. They're positioned at challenging spots (narrow passages, near rapids). Collecting all 6 grants a bonus lava-proof shield for the next level.
River Source Gauntlet
The river ends at a lava lake (volcano's heart). Here the playable area expands, but enemy spawns intensify. Survive 30 seconds of heavy enemy waves while the heat gauge climbs steadily. Use cooling vents strategically.
Enemy Guide
Lava Serpent
(Swimming Enemy)Tips: Emerges from lava surface and spits fire upward. Can't be destroyed, only dodged. Watch for bubbles on the lava surface as a 1-second warning.
Ember Hawk
(Flying Hunter)Tips: Fast enemies that dive-bomb from above. They try to push you into the lava. Counter by moving perpendicular to their dive path at the last moment.
Molten Golem
(Heavy Enemy)Tips: Slow, tanky (8 hits). Shoots molten rock that splits into 3 smaller projectiles on impact. Destroy the main rock before it splits to reduce bullet density.
