Step-by-Step Guide
Phase 1: Initialization (100-80% HP)
The Overlord appears as a massive holographic face. Attacks: Laser Grid (crisscrossing beams), Code Injection (spawns viruses), Data Spike (vertical strikes). Weak point: The 'eyes' of the hologram (2x damage). This phase tests pattern recognition. Learn the attack sequence: Grid → Injection → Spike → repeat.
Phase 2: Evolution (80-60% HP)
Overlord downloads combat data from all previous Chapter 4 bosses. Gains attacks from Security AI (splits into copies), Corrupted Administrator (perspective hacks), and Cyber Guardian (elemental attacks). All previous weak points are patched - now vulnerable only during attack animations (1-second windows).
Phase 3: Adaptation (60-40% HP)
TRUE adaptive AI activates. The Overlord analyzes your movement patterns. If you dodge left 3x in a row, it predicts left. Vary your dodges constantly. Arena fills with data streams (from Network Nexus). You must manage positioning while fighting. Overlord is vulnerable during stream direction changes.
Phase 4: System Reboot Attempts (40-20% HP)
Overlord attempts system reboots when damaged. A reboot heals 20% HP and resets the phase. You have 15 seconds to deal 30,000 damage to interrupt each reboot (happens at 35%, 28%, 22% HP). The objective requires preventing all 3 - incredibly difficult. Missing one adds 3+ minutes to the fight.
Phase 5: Network Collapse (20-0% HP)
Overlord initiates Network Collapse - the entire digital world is shutting down. The screen progressively fills with error messages and glitches (visibility drops to 40%). You have 90 seconds before total collapse (instant death). Overlord is stationary but generates the densest bullet hell in the game. Pure survival DPS check.

(Final Boss)Tips: 350,000 HP across 5 phases. The most complex boss in the game. Each phase requires different strategies. The adaptive AI in Phase 3 makes written guides less useful - you must improvise.
Boss Battle Tips
- •Phase 1 pattern timing: Grid lasts 8 sec, Injection 6 sec, Spike 4 sec. 18-second cycle. Use Spike phase (shortest) for maximum damage
- •Phase 2 copies: Unlike Security AI, ALL copies in this fight are real and must be destroyed. They share the total HP pool. Focus fire on one at a time
- •Phase 3 adaptation: The AI tracks your last 5 dodge directions. To counter: use a random pattern (random.org number generator if needed). Truly unpredictable movement defeats the AI
- •Phase 4 reboot interrupts: 30,000 damage in 15 seconds = 2,000 DPS. You need max weapon upgrades and perfect accuracy. Use ALL bombs here - this is the fight-defining moment
- •Phase 4 strategy: If you can only interrupt 2/3 reboots, interrupt the 1st and 3rd. Missing the middle one (28%) is least punishing timewise
- •Phase 5 glitch navigation: Focus your eyes on the bottom-center of screen where visibility is best. Use peripheral vision for bullets. Don't track bullets directly - too much visual noise
- •Phase 5 DPS: 20% HP = 70,000 damage in 90 seconds = 778 DPS minimum. Factoring in dodging, you need 1,200+ theoretical DPS. This is endgame-level gear requirement
- •Network Collapse countdown: Don't save bombs for 'emergency'. The emergency is NOW. Use them at 60, 45, 30 seconds remaining for maximum total damage
- •Adaptive AI exploit: In Phase 3, if you stand completely still for 3 seconds, the AI 'resets' its prediction. Use this once when overwhelmed to get a breather
- •Learning curve: This boss takes 20-30 attempts for most players. Focus on reaching later phases consistently rather than optimal Phase 1-2 play. Phase 5 practice is most valuable
- •The ultimate truth: This boss is designed to be the Chapter 4 skill ceiling. Beating it proves you've mastered cyber warfare. Don't feel bad about failing - it's meant to be brutally hard
