Underwater Ruins
Explore the mysterious sunken ruins of an ancient civilization. Stone pillars and crumbling temples create a haunting underwater landscape. New mechanic: Pressure zones that crush you if you descend too deep.

Step-by-Step Guide
Pressure Zone Mechanic
The bottom 20% of the screen is a dark pressure zone (gradual gradient indicates danger). Entering it deals 10% HP per second - you'll die in 10 seconds. A depth meter appears on screen showing your current depth. Stay in the upper 80% of the playable area.
Ruin Chambers Exploration
5 chambers are scattered across the ruins. Each is a room with stone walls and an entrance archway. Inside each chamber: enemies to clear, treasure to collect, and lore tablets to read (optional). Chambers connect in a sequence - find the exit to reach the next one.
Ancient Mechanisms
3 mechanisms (stone switches) must be activated to open the final boss door. They look like circular stone wheels embedded in walls. Approach and hold the interact button for 3 seconds to activate. Enemies spawn during activation - you can't shoot while activating.
Guardian Statue Mini-Boss
A stone warrior statue in the 5th chamber. 10,000 HP. Attacks: Stone Fist (melee slam), Rock Throw (3 projectiles), Shockwave (arena-wide, ascend to avoid). Weak point: Glowing crystal in chest (2x damage). Fight duration ~60 seconds.
Enemy Guide
Ruin Crab
(Basic Enemy)Tips: Walks on ruin surfaces (walls, floor, ceiling). Shoots forward. Dies in 3 hits. Predictable movement - easy to avoid.
Ghost Eel
(Elite Enemy)Tips: Semi-transparent, hard to see. Swims in wavy patterns. Charges at you when close (fast, hard to dodge). Takes 6 hits. Listen for its hissing sound cue.
Ancient Sentinel
(Mid-Boss)Tips: Floats in place guarding mechanisms. 5,000 HP. Fires laser beams in rotating patterns. Must be defeated to access each mechanism. Drops health pickup.
Boss Battle Tips
- •Depth management: Always know where the pressure zone is. If the screen shifts vertically (it does), recalibrate
- •Chamber order: Doesn't matter which 5 chambers you do first. But the boss chamber (6th) is always in the center ruins
- •Mechanism strategy: Clear all enemies in the room first before activating. You're vulnerable during the 3-second activation
- •Guardian Statue: Stay at medium range. When it raises both fists, it's doing Shockwave - ascend immediately. The crystal is only exposed after attacks
- •Ghost Eels: Turn up your sound. Their audio cue gives you 1 second warning before they charge
