Step-by-Step Guide
Solar Mechanic
The temple is powered by sunlight. Sun rays enter through ceiling openings and must be redirected to door mechanisms using mirrors. Sunlight angle changes based on time-of-day (morning, noon, afternoon). Puzzles are easier at noon (direct overhead light). Avoid attempting at dusk/dawn.
Mirror System
Movable mirrors throughout temple. Each mirror can rotate 360° (use interaction button). Direct sunbeam onto receiving crystals to unlock doors. Multiple mirrors needed for complex paths (beam bounces mirror to mirror). 5 major puzzles with 2-4 mirrors each.
Light Enemies
New enemy type: Light Wraiths. They're invulnerable in darkness, vulnerable in sunlight. Strategy: Use mirrors to illuminate dark areas, making Wraiths damageable. They flee from light, so corner them. Without light, they're unkillable.
Solar Altar Activation
Final chamber. Massive sun altar requires perfect alignment. 8 mirrors must direct beams to 8 altar points simultaneously. Complex puzzle (10-15 minutes). One beam out of place = fail. Successfully aligning unlocks Sandworm Boss arena (Level 6-6).
Enemy Guide
Light Wraith
(Conditional Enemy)Tips: Invulnerable in shadow, vulnerable in light. Takes 4 hits when illuminated. Shoots dark energy bolts. Flees from sunbeams (chase into light to damage). 20+ in temple.
Sun Guardian Statue
(Puzzle Guardian)Tips: 5 statues guard puzzle chambers. Activate when you enter room. 6,000 HP each. Shoots fireballs. Can't be damaged until puzzle is solved. Solve puzzle fast or fight while solving - your choice.
Boss Battle Tips
- •Best time-of-day: Enter temple at noon (in-game). Sun is directly overhead = simplest beam angles. Morning/afternoon adds complexity. Night is impossible (no sunlight)
- •Puzzle 1-2 (easy): Single mirror each. Direct beam from ceiling to door crystal. Tutorial level puzzles. Takes 30 seconds each
- •Puzzle 3-4 (medium): Two mirrors. Beam enters ceiling → Mirror 1 → Mirror 2 → Crystal. Requires understanding beam bounce angles. 2-3 minutes each
- •Puzzle 5 (hard): Four mirrors in a diamond formation. Complex path requiring all 4 mirrors in sequence. Trial and error if you don't understand optics. Can take 5-10 minutes
- •Light Wraith strategy: Don't fight them in darkness (waste of time). Use mirrors to flood room with light first, then fight. They take massive damage from focused sunbeams (can instant-kill)
- •Solar Altar (final puzzle): Start from altar center, work outward. Place mirrors from crystal 1 to 8 in order. Each beam should be aligned before moving to next. Systematic approach prevents confusion
- •Time limit consideration: The level doesn't have a hard time limit, but sun position changes. If you spend 30+ minutes, sun moves and previous puzzles may misalign. Complete level in under 25 minutes
