  • Defeat 150 fire enemies
  • Complete without dying (1-life challenge)

Step-by-Step Guide

1

Extreme Heat Modifier

Unlike Level 6-1, you START at 50% heat. Heat increases 2% per 5 seconds (twice as fast). Damage starts at 60% (not 80%). At 100%, you take 40% HP/sec (twice normal). Shade only reduces heat by 1%/sec (half effectiveness). This is Heat Management on hard mode.

2

Lava Hazards

Lava pools scattered throughout ruins. Touching lava = instant 50% HP damage + sets you on fire (10% HP over 10 sec). Lava pools block paths - you must jump over (precise timing required). Failed jump = lava damage. 20+ lava gaps throughout level.

3

Ash Cloud Zones

Areas filled with thick ash (from burned buildings). Inside ash cloud: Visibility reduced 70%, heat increases 3x faster, constant coughing (can't use abilities). Ash zones cover 30% of map. Plan routes to minimize ash exposure or rush through quickly.

4

Combined Mechanics Test

This level combines: Heat (6-1), Traps (6-2), Storms/visibility (6-3), Enemy density (6-4). It's Chapter 6's skill check before final boss. If you can clear this, you're ready for Phoenix Lord.

Enemy Guide

Fire Imp

(Basic Enemy)

Tips: Small fire creatures. Shoot fireballs. Die in 2 hits. Appear in swarms of 10-15. Fast movement. Individually weak, collectively annoying. Most common enemy (60+ total).

Magma Golem

(Tank Enemy)

Tips: Slow but tanky. 15 hits to kill. Leaves lava trail behind it (lingering hazard). Melee only. Can be kited. 10 total in level. Time consuming fights.

Ash Phantom

(Stealth Enemy)

Tips: Only visible in ash clouds (invisible in clear areas). Ambushes from ash. Fast strikes. Dies in 4 hits. 15 total. Most dangerous enemy type - forces you into ash zones to fight them.

Ifrit

(Elite Boss)

Tips: 3 Ifrits guarding key chokepoints. Each 20,000 HP. Shoots massive fireballs, summons Fire Imps, teleports. Mini-boss difficulty. Can't be skipped - block the path. 10-minute fight each if undergeared.

Boss Battle Tips

  • Heat management strategy: Find cooling stations (water barrels, 5 total scattered through ruins). Each instantly resets heat to 30%. Memorize locations. Plan route from station to station
  • Station locations: Station 1 (start area), Station 2 (25% progress, north ruins), Station 3 (50%, central plaza), Station 4 (75%, east ruins), Station 5 (95%, temple entrance). ~3 minutes travel between stations
  • Lava jumping: Hold sprint button, jump at last moment before gap. You need full sprint speed for longer gaps. Practice on early small gaps before attempting large ones (instant death if you miss)
  • Ash cloud strategy: Don't fight inside ash unless necessary (Ash Phantoms). Rush through ash zones, exit to clear area, then turn and shoot enemies that followed. Fighting in ash = suicide
  • Ifrit 1 (25%): Blocks north ruins entrance. Standard Ifrit - learn patterns here. Ifrit 2 (60%): In central plaza, spawns Fire Imps constantly. Ifrit 3 (90%): Temple gates, teleports aggressively. Ifrit 3 is hardest
  • 1-life challenge: This is the true difficulty. One mistake (lava, heat death, enemy oneshot) = restart. Estimated 10-20 attempts for average players. Demands perfect execution
  • Time management: No time limit BUT heat forces constant movement. You can't stay in one place healing/planning. Always moving forward or you overheat. Natural time pressure ~25 minutes
  • Ifrit skip myth: Community debates if Ifrits can be skipped. They can't. They have collision boxes blocking narrow paths. You MUST kill all 3 to progress
