Step-by-Step Guide
Phase 1: First Life (100-0% HP)
Phoenix Lord has 300,000 HP. Phase 1: Standard attacks - Fireball Volley (5 shots), Flame Wings (dash attack), Fire Tornado (arena-wide). Weak point: Glowing core in chest (visible, 2x damage). Fight duration ~4 minutes. At 0% HP, Phoenix dies and enters Resurrection.
Resurrection Mechanic
When Phoenix reaches 0% HP, it doesn't die. It collapses into ash pile and begins resurrection (takes 30 seconds). During resurrection: Phoenix is invulnerable, ash pile slowly rebuilds body. You must collect 5 Phoenix Feathers (scattered in arena) and bring to ash pile to interrupt. Miss 1 feather = resurrection completes.
Phase 2: Second Life (100-0% HP)
If resurrection completes, Phoenix revives at full HP with enhanced attacks. New abilities: Meteor Rain (falling fire), Inferno Aura (damage aura, stay distant). Phoenix is 20% faster. Weak point now only appears after Meteor Rain. Harder phase, ~5 minutes.
Phase 3: Third Life (100-0% HP)
Third resurrection. Phoenix gains: Solar Flare (screen-wide flash, blind for 5 sec), Summon Fire Minions (10 adds). Now 40% faster. Weak point exposed only after killing all minions. Extremely hard phase, ~6 minutes. Most players fail here.
Phase 4: Final Life (100-0% HP)
Fourth and final form. Phoenix is desperate. Gains: Supernova (20-second countdown to arena explosion, must kill Phoenix before it ends or instant death). All previous attacks combined. This is the DPS race. Kill or be killed.
Enemy Guide
Phoenix Lord
(Chapter Final Boss)Tips: 300,000 HP per life, 4 lives = 1,200,000 HP total. Most HP of any boss so far. Resurrection mechanic makes fight 4 phases. Each phase progressively harder. This is Chapter 6's ultimate challenge.
Fire Minion
(Phase 3 Adds)Tips: 10 spawn during Phase 3. Each 3,000 HP. Small fire elementals. Shoot fireballs. Must kill all 10 to expose weak point. They respawn every 60 seconds - kill Phoenix quickly after clearing them.
Boss Battle Tips
- •Resurrection interrupt: 5 feathers spawn at fixed locations (N, S, E, W arena corners, 1 in center). You have 30 seconds to collect all 5 and deposit at ash pile. Practice the route: Start center, spiral outward, collect all 5, return to center (ash pile)
- •Feather collection optimal route: Center → North → East → South → West → Return Center. Takes 20-25 seconds if you sprint. Allows 5-10 second buffer
- •First resurrection (after Phase 1): INTERRUPT IT. Collect feathers, prevent Phase 2. This is the easy interrupt. If you fail here, fight becomes exponentially harder
- •Second resurrection (after Phase 2): Also interrupt. Still manageable. Feathers in same locations. Community consensus: Interrupt first 2 resurrections, let third happen (too hard to stop)
- •Third resurrection (after Phase 3): Let it happen. Phase 4 feather collection while dodging attacks is nearly impossible. Accept Phase 4, prepare for Supernova
- •Phase 4 Supernova strategy: You have 20 seconds. Phoenix has 300,000 HP. Required DPS: 15,000 DPS. This needs perfect gear + all bombs + character ultimate. It's the tightest DPS check in Chapter 6
- •Weak point exposure: Phase 1 (always visible), Phase 2 (after Meteor Rain, 5-sec window), Phase 3 (after killing all minions, 10-sec window), Phase 4 (always visible, no time to be choosy)
- •Bomb economy: You have 5 bombs. Use: 0 in Phase 1 (easy), 1 in Phase 2 (Meteor Rain dodge), 2 in Phase 3 (minion clearing), 2 in Phase 4 (Supernova damage burst)
- •15-minute timer: Phase 1 (4 min) + Interrupt 1 (0.5 min) + Phase 2 (5 min) + Interrupt 2 (0.5 min) + Phase 3 (6 min) + Phase 4 (3 min) = 19 minutes. You need to be faster. Skip Interrupt 2, go straight to Phase 4
- •Alternative strategy (speedrun): Let both resurrections happen immediately (don't collect feathers). Go straight to Phase 4. This saves 5-6 minutes but makes Phase 4 harder. High risk, high reward
